Q: What made you become interested in real estate? A: I was a single mom of 2 children and needed more income and I loved looking at homes. Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted? A: Only neighbors came to my open house to see all the changes the seller did to the home. Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far? A: Finding the perfect home after showing them over 85 homes in a 6 month period for my special buyers. Helping my single mom buyer find a home in her price range and getting the home she always wanted. Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license? A: To work the business full time and not as a hobby. Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started? A: When I started we didn’t have fax machines, we had to use carbon paper in between our contracts so everyone go a copy. The laws have changed to help our clients, the tools are incredible and it keeps getting better for us all the time. Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job? A: Getting good leads, keeping up a good profile of myself and business. Keeping up with the new changes, the classes, learning the new tools, staying on top of all the communication with buyers and sellers. Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say? A: It’s a great career!
