A: My broker and another friend Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted? A: Surprising a seller, reading on the potty! Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far? A: Being named Realtor of the Year the same year that I was President of our local Association of Realtors. Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license? A: I wish I had known to get my license sooner. I love what I do!! Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started? A: Technology has definitely changed. Because we live in such a litigious society, our forms and documents keep getting longer and longer. I now get forty seven emails everyday from others wanting part of my commission. This only started 4-5 years ago. Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job? A: Once I purchase a puzzle, the first and last few pieces of a jigsaw puzzle are the easiest. In real estate, once I have a buyer or seller, the first few responsibilities are easy, showing or listing and the last are fun and easy, going to closing and celebrating with my people (buyers, sellers, mortgage brokers, title company team, my tribe). It’s the pieces in between that create the challenges. The list is too long to even start. I LOVE the challenge of a good jigsaw puzzle and I LOVE the challenges that arise in real estate. Just put the pieces together, one at a time! Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say? A: Me, 5 words or less? LOL
