A: Both my parents sold real estate. Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted? A: Old clients sometimes come to my open houses and we are able to catch up. Sometimes they end up selling their home. Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far? A: I had a client that was a school teacher and she wasn't sure she would be able to buy a home close to her school, but we were able to work together and find a home that was in her price range near her school. It was very rewarding when everything came together. Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license? A: My mom was in real estate before me so she was a great mentor, and my eyes were wide open when I began my real estate career. Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started? A: I've been selling since there were two-page contracts and now there are 10 pages in a contract plus miscellaneous forms. In addition to working through booming times and lower times in real estate. The market is ever changing. When I started the listing were printed in a book and came out twice a month with a weekly supplement. Now, buyers and sellers can see properties on market via the internet instantly. The pace has certainly picked up. Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job? A: The most challenging part of my job is being completely accessible for every aspect of the business. Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say? A: Always be prepared and knowledgeable.
