Q: What made you become interested in real estate? A: I love meeting people and helping them. Real estate is the field where I get to meet different people and help them with their dream of owning a home. It is very interesting as I get to learn different things from different people and have the opportunity to help people every day! Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted? A: The most interesting thing is that once I met a childhood friend who got transferred to a different country, and at an open house, he saw my name on the sign and came in and instantly we recognized each other. I helped him buy his first home! Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far? A: It is hard to say as I have so many favourite moments. Every time I see the happiness when my clients get to move in to their home is a favorite moment, and every time I receive an award for being one of the top 10 realtors is a favorite moment. Every time I hear my clients referring me to their friends or family and saying “close your eyes and trust Madhu” is a favorite moment! Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license? A: That you need to know how to run this business! Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started? A: The industry has changed in many ways. To start with, it has become much easier for the public to access information on listings. People know that there is no such thing as buying real estate at a right time, that any time is the right time for buying or selling real estate. They have accepted that market is cyclical. Today, any buyer or seller is quite aware of the market and sometimes does much more research then their hired agents. Q: What's the most challenging part of your job? A: In a crazy and hot market as we are in today, where homes receive more than 10 to 15 offers, the most challenging job is to get your buyer’s offer accepted at the right price with the right terms. Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say? A: Your satisfaction is my success!
