A: My mother was in real estate and she loved it. Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted? A: I got bitten by a blind poodle. Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far? A: I loved getting a family into a home when they didn't even dream it was possible, through special subsidized financing. Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license? A: Sometimes what people say they want and what they actually end up in love with are sometimes 2 different things. Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started? A: The market is constantly changing. We've had sellers markets and buyers markets. The biggest change is how much online presence means, not only in marketing but where the buyers are looking now. Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job? A: I love working with buyers and sellers, but it is difficult when you have a home listed that isn't selling. You need to be honest with the sellers, whether it is about price, cleanliness etc. Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say? A: Helping people realize their dream.
