A: I've always been passionate about customer service and real estate was a great career choice for me because I get help people and make a great living while doing so. Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far? A: I have had many, my heart is full with all of the first time buyers I have helped to make their dream of home ownership a reality. There is nothing better than seeing the excitement and happiness when you hand someone the keys to their new home. Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license? A: That taking the real estate exam to become licensed doesn't really teach you anything about the day to day business. Every day there is something new to learn so you have to be on your toes and constantly keeping yourself up to date. Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started? A: I started in the real estate business in 2005, so a lot has changed with the way things are done in our industry. Most noticeably the way mortgage loans are done, there are much stricter qualification guidelines that there used to be and appraisers are much more heavily regulated. Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job? A: I have a hard time marketing myself. I know exactly how great my services are but getting that across to people I don't know without sounding pushy has always been a challenge. Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say? A: Caring, knowledgeable, personalized customer service.
