A: I believe real estate is one of the only ways to truly build wealth long term. Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted? A: Probably the time that an 8-year-old kid (who obviously watched a ton of HGTV) came in and started explaining to his parents all the renovations that could be done like knocking down walls, etc. Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far? A: Helping my in-laws move out of their home of 30 years which had a lot of deferred maintenance and into a turn-key home that allowed them to enjoy their retirement has been the most rewarding. I also love helping first-time buyers! Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license? A: I wish I knew back then how important networking and follow-up is when it comes to building your business. Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started? A: The internet brokers have definitely put a strain on commissions, particularly for the buyers agents. However, seeing the service that is lacking from those companies has allowed me to shine in the area of customer satisfaction. Q: What's the most challenging part of your job? A: The most difficult part of my job is promoting myself and becoming known to as many people as possible. Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say? A: Helping others achieve their goals.
