Experience: 15 years Specializations: Single-family homes Areas Served: Seattle and surrounding areas Q: What made you become interested in real estate? A: My father was in real estate sales for 20 years before I started. Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted? A: I sold the house. Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far? A: I sold a condominium for a client whose mother left it to him in her will. It had gone into foreclosure because of non-payment. His previous agent was not able to sell it and he was going to let it go back to the bank. I was able to sell it and get him $12,000 dollars in equity back. Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license? A: How to build a business. Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started? A: The internet was not as wide reaching as it is now. Social media was in its infancy. Offers were still sent using a fax machine. Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job? A: Time management. Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say? A: Follow up and follow through.
