Q: What made you become interested in real estate?
A: I previously worked in the food and beverage industry and always loved working with people. I bought and sold my own properties and decided I wanted to do that for others and help them achieve their goals.
Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted?
A: I sold the house the same day to a cash buyer.
Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far?
A: We got to a closing and the buyer that we represented did not have enough money to close on the home. They had spent all the money they had on the home inspections and appraisal and down payment. I contributed my entire commission check to help the family move into their first home.
Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license?
A: How important keeping and feeding your database is.
Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started?
A: The real estate industry has turned into a very tech and forward-thinking industry. Social media and creativity or what it takes to sell property now.
Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job?
A: Competing with the eye buyer system and the discount brokerages.
