Experience: 3+ years Specializations: Listing agent, Buyer's agent, Foreclosures, Rural Properties Areas Served: Stearns county and surrounding communities Q: What made you become interested in real estate? A: I love helping people Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted? A: An older couple came to an open house I was hosting. They began to tell me inappropriate stories, loudly in front of other parties. It took me a few minutes to excuse myself from their conversation. Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far? A: I was working with a couple. They were more quiet during our home tours and I felt I didn't get to know them as well as other clients. After we closed the transaction, the female buyer gave me a huge hug while crying and told me they truly found their dream home! They were so excited and never thought it was going to happen because we looked at so many homes. I appreciate their joy and their thanks for me helping them. I am honored I was able to make them so happy! Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license? A: I wish I had known how important it is to have strong agents around you. We are direct competitors, but we only make each other better. Real Estate is a demanding career and having team members you can call to assist you and treat your clients as their own is unmeasurable. I am part of a wonderful brokerage with amazing agents! Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started? A: I feel clients appreciate customer service especially communication more and more as I advance in real estate. Clients seem more paranoid about what is going on behind the scenes. I try to give them reassurance by communicating every step of the way to alleviate concerns. Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job? A: Disappointing clients is the hardest part of my job. Clients will lose out on offers, some homes will sell slowly and sometimes clients will get negative feedback; I try to navigate clients through these difficult situations. At the end of the day, I know I am in the background working as hard as I can for my clients. Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say? A: Demanding, rewarding, compassionate, communicative, detail orientative
