Q: What made you interested in Real Estate?
A: I used to be in Solar Panel sales and speaking to homeowners about real estate really made me want to become a broker so I could help people achieve their real estate goals.
Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted?
A: One of my first open houses I had someone walk in and want to purchase the home. I was so new that I did not know people actually did that.
Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far?
A: Proudest moment was taking a listing for someone who thought their home would sell for $50k less than what I was able to get them. I was able to do this by letting them know what they needed to repair in the home and then we received an offer the first weekend it went live!
Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license?
A:. That it takes a lot of time and patience to help someone find the right home.
Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started?
A: In the last 3 years I have seen this market explode. It was fast paced when I first got in and now it seems that nearly every home is going over asking price. My job has become increasingly more challenging.
Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job?
A: Making sure that my buyers are prepared to write an offer over asking price and that we may have to write multiple offers on multiple homes before we get one accepted.
Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say?
A: Patience, persistence, market knowledge, think outside the box.
