Q: What made you become interested in real estate?
A: Helping people without limiting my own unique way of being a professional.
Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted?
A: Finding someone (a guest of the homeowner) sleeping in one of the guest rooms.
Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far?
A: Multiple times in relocations, my clients purchase the home without seeing it. Through my understanding of what they want, using FaceTime or Skype, filming the home with my video settings, measuring rooms, etc, I would find them a home. It is very concerning that once they get here, it's not what they truly wanted. So far, I am batting 100% satisfaction. I really prefer at least one of the buyers come visit the property during the inspection period. It helps me not to stress.
Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license?
A: Have Fun. Establish habits from the very beginning that bring the greatest benefit to your business and your clients.
Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started?
A: The very strong seller's market that we are in right now. The inventory is extremely low. The locals can not find homes to purchase, so they cannot put their current homes on the market. The current inventory is down to about 2 weeks. Our normal inventory is 4 months.
Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job?
A: The paper work for sure. Per the state and national associations we must be up to date in reporting all the documents to the correct sites in a timely manner. Documenting all conversations, making all necessary notes can be over whelming but with a system, it is possible and it keeps you current on all transactions and with the clients. It also provides a paper trail in case you ever need to find something.
Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say?
A: I love serving and helping.
