A: After renovating homes with my father in New Jersey, and later, in charge of an international sales and marketing team in Asia, where I lived for 9 years, I returned and found myself first as a lender, and later, as a probate and trust specialist in San Francisco (that was 14 years ago!). Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted? A: Some lady in a jogging suit visited as I was closing up and asked me to ‘show her the home’… She removed most of her jogging suit, exclaiming how ‘warm’ she was… I had to ask her to leave. Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far? (proudest moment, most heartwarming, most inspiring, etc) A: When I was able to negotiate an offer on one of my listings up from $2.65 million to $3.0 million, and the removal of all contingencies with a 7 day closing. My client was beyond thrilled – so was I. Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license? A: How much I truly was going to love this career. I always knew that it would be very synergistic with my commercial and residential interior renovation experience, but if I had known how much joy being ‘at their service’ to my clients genuinely would be, I would have done earlier. Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job? A: Time management. We have so limited an amount of it. Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say?
