Experience: 19 years Specializations: Residential Real Estate Areas Served: Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area Q: What made you become interested in real estate? A: I became interested in real estate through my wife's grandfather, who was a wonderful man and really helped the community he served in the Bay Area as a Realtor for many years Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted? A: An amorous couple sneaking away to a bedroom. Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far? A: There have been many wonderful moments. Really, I enjoy our team, who does most of the hard work and really enjoy their successes the most. Their hard work has led to many recognitions that really belong to them...being named Broker of the Year was a wonderful honor. Serving as president of our Portland Association and being elected President (elect) of the Oregon Association of Realtors were others. Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license? A: People will be under a high degree of stress. Give them grace. Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started? A: More and more automation and, sadly, lower and lower levels of professionalism. Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job? A: Solving complex problems. It is challenging and invigorating at the same time. Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say? A: Give it all you've got.
