Q: What made you interested in Real Estate?

A: My passion for helping people in a way that directly impacts their life and long-term wealth.

Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted?

A: Someone brought in a parrot and it was talking to all of the guests in the open house. I tried to teach it to say "buy this house" but it did not work.

Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far?

A: I helped a Mother and son move to Colorado from St. Louis and she did not think it was possible. We worked hard over the one weekend she came out to visit and I was able to find a property in a great area that was perfect for them. I negotiated for the best price for them and I was able to beat out other offers even at higher prices. The move changed their lives and her son is thriving in a new environment.

Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license?

A: Setting boundaries has always been difficult for me as a people pleaser, so I wish I would have know how to be better at that before I started rather than learning how to do so on the fly.

Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started?

A: As we come out of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the market seems to be finally shifting to a more balanced playing field. Although I have been in the industry for several years, I have never really experienced anything other than a Seller's market.

Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job?

A: Setting reasonable expectations and communicating with clients when things do not go their way

Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say?

A: Communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and tenacity.
