Years of Experience: 1 Specializations: Residential Property, Leasing Property, Digital Marketing Strategy, Customer Service Areas Served: San Diego County, CA Q: What made you become interested in real estate? A: A family member in real estate recommended the idea. I have always been an entrepreneur. I grew up working in a family restaurant and in college I started my own event planning company. Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted? A: At one of my open houses, I had the opportunity to meet a professional sports athlete. Anytime someone walks in the door at an open house you’re extra excited just for the potential opportunity of a sale, but this was an even more exciting and a successful experience. Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far? (proudest moment, most heartwarming, most inspiring, etc) A: Listing and selling a mobile home property. Never in my life did I ever anticipate being a realtor, let alone a sales agent for a mobile home property. Mobile homes are a unique property to say the least, with a handful of special characteristics and procedures. It was an uphill battle from day one and for that I am grateful for the experience gained. Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license? A: I wish I had known just how expensive of a career it is to start. The dues, fees and difficulty to obtain a steady income are challenging. Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job? A: Finding realistic clients. I talk with people every day, via cold calls, door knocking and networking. While it is always great to boost my network, I have struggled finding true potential clients who are going to actually buy or sell in the near future. Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say? A: Know yourself, know your worth.
