Experience: 13 years Specializations: Short sales, manufactured homes, luxury homes, and residential Areas Served: Kitsap County/Mason and Pierce County Q: What made you become interested in real estate? A: I have always wanted to do Real Estate, so I started as a licensed assistant for my brother and his friend for the first year. My brother was a number one realtor in pierce county, and I fell in love with it right away and decided to pursue it on my own. The first 18 months after going on my own I worked with Soundbuilt homes, being a site agent for new construction which I also loved doing, then decided to go out and learn other sales and marketing so I wouldn't only know new construction. Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted? A: I really do not have any crazy open house stories, except one time I offered to do a open house for a coworker who told me (after I said I would do it) that a husband murdered his wife in the house. I was very crept out the whole time and had no cell service. Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far? A: My favorite moment of my career was getting a award for most sales in an office with more than 100 agents! Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license? A: My brother told me a lot about what to expect, so I feel like I knew what I was getting myself into. Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started? A: Wow! It went from a seller’s market to a crashed market back to a seller’s market to a normal market. Q: What's the most challenging part of your job? A: Not taking my work home with me. Being able to do my best, then surrender and know that I did my best. And never counting my chickens before they hatch! Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say? A: I LOVE MY JOB!
